Galax appears to have launched the first overclocking-focused GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card on the market.
Galax GeForce RTX 5080 HOF OC LAB Plus-X is equipped with a massive cooling system, which includes three fans (two with a diameter of 102 mm, one – 92 mm). The cooling system received a decorative plastic element in the form of a crown with ARGB backlighting – a signature feature of all HOF series cards. The manufacturer will also offer a version of the card without this crown.
The card has a dual BIOS system. The new product’s GPU is declared to be factory overclocked to 2730 MHz. The accelerator receives additional power via one 12+4-pin 12V-2×6 connector. The power consumption of the video card is unknown. However, many custom versions of the RTX 5080 with additional GPU overclocking have a TDP of 400 W.
In addition, the new product received an LED system that allows you to control the correct connection of power cables. It lights up only when installed correctly.
