Publisher tinyBuild and Questing Goose Studio have announced Probably Stolen, a unique store management simulator set in a dark cyberpunk setting.

Probably Stolen takes place on a massive space station torn apart by wealth and corruption. Players assume the role of a former scavenger who has managed to open his own business in the Lower Levels.

Users will be tasked with building a business around goods of dubious origin: selling, buying, and manufacturing products, and potentially engaging in a bit of smuggling.

“You never know who’s on the other side of the counter. It’s just another customer, but it could be a security officer, <…> a revolutionary <…> or a broke rich guy <…>. Every transaction is a gamble,” the authors warn.

Furthermore, chipped residents could fall under the control of a rogue AI. A gun is available for such customers, but if they miss the mark or misinterpret the signs, the hero will have to pay.

They promise ever-increasing rent, additional professions (gunsmith, chemist, organ dealer, fence, farmer, and others), and a mechanic for checking goods.

The game will be released on PC via Steam, but the exact release date has not yet been revealed. Along with the announcement, the developers have already opened access to a test version, allowing you to explore the game’s core mechanics.
