The gothic action roguelike survival game Vampire Survivors, developed by London-based studio Poncle, will receive a major expansion, Legacy of the Bloodmoon, next week, on August 28th. A short video was released to celebrate the expansion’s upcoming release.
The DLC introduces 10 new characters, including Kaljero, a vile beast with an insatiable thirst for blood; Baal’Thasar, founder of the Order of the Blood Moon; and the ancient king Sargon. The developers will also add 16 weapons, eight music tracks, and the ancient lair of the Order of the Red Moon.
Vampire Survivors is a casual survival game with gothic horror elements and simplified roguelike elements. Released in 2022, it is now available on PC (Steam), Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo
Switch, and mobile devices. It was previously announced that its audience has surpassed 27 million players.
Legacy of the Bloodmoon will be released on PlayStation Portable (Steam, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, and S. The add-on will also be available on iOS and Android mobile devices.
