Kalypso Media and developer Gaming Minds Studios unveiled a gameplay trailer for Tropico 7, announcing the release date.
In the published material, the developers showcased an advanced system for constructing residential districts on the island, the capabilities of the terrain editor, as well as an improved political matrix and edict system.
The release version of Tropico 7 will feature five new maps for the story campaign (and 20 for the sandbox mode), 10 scenarios, a random map generator, and even a new nemesis for El Presidente.
The new installment of the island-nation simulation game will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X (plus Game Pass) on January 28, 2027.
